The movie Salt was written by Kurt Wimmer and directed by Phillip Noyce. The Film was produced by Lorenso DiBonaventura and Sunil Perkash. The Salt movie was released on July 23, 2010.

Salt is a movie full of action, suspense, and is very thrilling. Salt is a novel regarding a woman who was raised and trained to be the best assassin, her name was Evelyn Salt, who’s played by (Angelina Jolie) who had a husband Mike Krause, who’s played by August Diehl, a scientist who studies spiders (arachnologist),” who also is so madly in love with his wife that he risks his life and has done everything he could to set her free from any captivity in Russia. Salt was accused as a spy by Russian government. She was a CIA Officer and she was working for Ted Winter, her boss, who’s played by Leive Schreiber.

The same day that Evelyn Salt asked her boss for a day off to celebrate their anniversary, the Russian defector Orlov volunteered to give information regarding a future event, unfortunately it was before she got a chance to get out the door. Salt had been ordered to interrogate the man. She was set up by Orlov, the man who trained her to be the best of the best. Orlov who’s played by Hunt Block was telling Salt a story about a Day “X”operation, organized by a powerful Russian since the cold war.  Orlov had mentioned, The Russian president will be attending the United States Vice presidents funeral, and he will be assassinated by a Russian spy named Salt. Well, Evelyn Salt was shaken with Onlov’s accusation. She tried to call her husband, but there was no answer. She tried to get out to find her husband, but her boss and and his colleague Peabody cornered her, they suspected that Salt was on the wrong side. Evelyn Salt was not only the best of the best ninja warriors, but also a smart and wise woman. She finally found her way out and she was on the run trying to get to her husband, but she was too late, she knew they got to him first.

During the attempt to kill the Russian president, Evelyn Salt was using her full strength and skill to get through to the president at the funeral. Guards were everywhere around the church, but she got close enough to throw a grenade over at the chandelier which crushed down the lower ground, along with the Russian president. Salt had shot him with enough spider venom for the president to stop breathing for a few minutes. Peabody was the first on the scene, Salt could have had killed him but instead, she just fled from him. Onlov was pleased when he heard the Russian president was killed. Evelyn Salt went to meet her trainer Onlov, and he took her to where her detained husband was. Mike’s mouth was duck taped and he was chained. Onlov made Salt watch him murder her husband. You can not imagine how she felt, her beloved husband was murdered in front of her eyes. The most painful experience to anyone who witnesses it. Salt maintained her composure, so that Onlov would trust her. While he was alone with her in the room, he discussed with Salt their last mission, to assassinate the president of the United States. Evelyn Salt was fuming.” She grabbed a piece of something and wackes him a couple times with it, his life was over. She got out the room giving martial art instructions to the guards by the front door, she took the guns from them and just started firing left and right on the way out, Onlov ‘s guards were down falling on the floor like flies.

Evelyn Salt’s mission was not over yet, she needed to rescue the President of the United States to prove her innocence. She knew it was not going to be easy to get through all the guards. She made it through, but before she got closer to the room where the president was, her boss Ted Winter killed all the guys inside and knocked down the president. Salt was trying to convince Ted to let her joined him, and when he was just about to open the door for her, he saw the news on the screen, that the Russian President was still very alive. He started to act on the presidents behalf to declare war on the other countries. Evelyn Salt had to break the window to open the door, just in time to stop it before security got inside and grabbed her. Her boss Ted Winter almost got away with murder, but Salt managed to kill him even though she was chained by the hands. Salt was taken to a helicopter with Peabody, who was still in doubt about Salt telling the truth. I could not imagine Angelina Jolie performing in a movie without action. You have to see the Salt movie to find out how she killed her boss and if Peabody let her get away. The Salt movie was action from the beginning to the end of the movie. It was great performance by Angelina Jolie as always. No waiting in the line if you purchase your tickets online.

The Back-up Plan movie, was directed by Alan Poul and was produced by Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, and Steve Tisch. The Back-up Plan film was written by Kate Angelo, and was released in theatrical April 2010.

The Back-up Plan movie, a romantic comedy novel about a woman whom finally gave up looking for her soul mate after years of dating. Zoe, played by Jennifer Lopez, was a successful woman who owned a business. When she made up her mind to have a child, she decided to have artificial insemination, that same day she met the man of her dreams. She had just walked from the doctor’s clinic, called the cab and when she got inside a man, who’s played by Alex O’Loughlin Dan, got inside the cab the same time as she did. They both argued, who called the cab first. Finally Zoe got out, but the man also got out letting her have the ride, but the cab driver took off, without a passenger.

Dan invited Zoe to dinner one evening, took her to a romantic atmosphere, with one table on the center in a flower garden, with Champaign bottle, a silver platter, “and with candle light.” Zoe opened the silver platter; it was nothing like gourmet food inside, it was cheese pizza! Dan had tried to open the Champaign bottle and it splashed all over on Zoe’s dress, and the whole table was on fire! Dan grabbed of some kind of dirt, poured it on the table that was on fire and Zoe grabbed the hose and sprayed the table, well all the dirt just splashed all over on Dan. Although they didn’t get a chance to eat the pizza, and drink the Champaign, the evening was turned into laughter and the romance begun. Dan invited Zoe to visit him at his ranch; she drove her car along with her dog. As she was driving inside the ranch she saw Dan driving the tractor, she got distracted and she just ran into a tree. After Zoe confessed to Dan that she was pregnant, he was disappointed and confused. They both were madly in love, there’s no doubt about it.” Dan was even more confused when they found out Zoe is going to have twins. But true love, always supersedes above all, in any circumstances.

The movie The Back-up Plan was hilarious; you have to watch Jennifer Lopez and Alex O”Loughlin face reactions when they were watching the other woman who was in labor. J. Lo’s excellent performance,  and Alex did a good job. The Back-up movie would be perfect for family to watch. Very enjoyable film!

The Losers movie was written by Peter Berg and James Vanderbilt. Sylvain White was the director of the movie The Losers; it was released on DVD and Blue-Ray on August 2010.

The Losers was a novel of five men who were an Elite US Special Forces Team-Unit which integrated with Central Intelligence Agency. Jeffrey Morgan, was portrays Clay as the head of the mercenaries team unit, and four other men in his unit. Their names were Pooch, Cougar, Rouge, and Jensen who are going to Bolivia with a mission; they were to destroy the drug operation in the area of jungle of Bolivia. Before the team okayed the Pilot to unleashed the bombed, the team had seen children in the camp that were about to be bombed. The planed was change instead, they went and rescued the children first and then bomb the jungle of the drug operation. Max the miserable murderer sent a helicopter to pick up the team, it was supposed to be their funeral, but the team decided to let the children get in the helicopter to be safe, so much for the kids to be safe, Max just fired a missile at the helicopter and blew up the 25 children. Finally the losers team had realized they had been doubled crossed by Max, who’s played by Jason Patric, a selfish, cold hearted, murderous man. The government and their families presumed that they were dead. The team was on fired for revenge; they finally realized they had been doubled cross by a selfish, cold hearted murderous Max. The team arrived in town and decided to stop for a drink. Clay was sitting on the bar, and the mysterious woman sat next to him and started flirting with Clay, he went to his room and she went with him. She seemed  ready to make out with Clay, but it was kind of unusual her way of having a romance with the man, she started using her black belt know how to beat up Clay,  burned down the whole building before making a job offering  to the man. I must admit the mystery woman who’s played by Zoe Saldana as Aisha had a tough move and she was great in that action.

The team unit (the losers), had discovered that Aisha was the daughter of the bad guys big boss. Well, they tried to kill her, but Aisha was slick and moved fast, she got away.One of the team members had betrayed their team, they got caught and their life is about to be over, but the woman whom they tried to kill showed up and rescued them. Clay, the leader of the team was beat up a lot but he lived, and the one who betrayed the team was blown up along with the airplane. The Losers film was very entertaining, full of action from the beginning to the end of the movie. A must see this movie The Losers.

Our Family Wedding movie was directed by Rick Famuyiwa, Writers: Rick Famuyiwa, Wayne Conley. Our Family Wedding movie was released on Blu-ray and DVD on March 2010.

The movie, Our Family Wedding, is a novel of two College students who were in love. Lucia Ramirez, who’s  played by America Ferrera and her boyfriend  Marcus Boyd, who portrays Lance Gross They both discussed and agreed to announce their engagement as a surprise to their parents. Lucia and Marcus came home to their home town, and invite their family to dinner. Lucia and Marcus had never discussed their relationship with their parents before they came home. So the family on both sides has no idea that their college students’ kids were having a serious relationship with someone. Marcus and Lucia had introduced both of their parents to each other. Brad Boyd, who’s played by Forest Whitaker, the father of Marcus was not too crazy of meeting Miguel Ramirez, the father of Lucia, because Miguel has towed Brad’s Car earlier. Miguel and Brad did not like each other from that point on. It’s even worsened when they introduced each other as future parents in law. Brad and Miguel acted as they were uncivilized human being, perhaps like little kids. The big issue was each family was from a different culture, there’s always a difficulties in the relationship between both sides. Lucia and Marcus were in a very stressful situation because of their parents. Marcus tried to explain to Lucia, to stand up for her right as a grown woman to her parent, but she misunderstood, she gave the ring back to Marcus, she just broke up with him and the wedding is off.

When Lucia’s father seen how miserable her daughter was, Miguel, (who loves his daughter very much), seeing how unhappy she was without the man she’s in love with, he came to his senses and he compromised with her. Lucia did not know the way how to make up with Marcus; her sweet sister decided how to help her. She went to Marcus house, and then serenades him in the front yard. I thought that was very cute for a woman to serenade a man. Well, both parties had compromised and the wedding plan continued as planned.

The movie, Our Family wedding, the wedding party was so hilarious and disastrous, you’ll see goat and chickens running around knocking out everything there is in the reception. Champaign glasses were flying everywhere, and the wedding cake, and before the bride and groom get a chance to cut the cake, the goat cut it for them. But the wedding ceremony continues. The wedding reception was a disastrous, but at least Lucia and Marcus made it to become one, (husband and wife). The movie Our Family Wedding was so funny that family will enjoy watching the film Our Family Wedding. A must see!

The movie Thirst was directed by Jeffrey Scott Lando, and was written by Joel Newman, and Kurt Volcan. The Thirst movie DVD was released June 2010.

The Thirst movie is based on a novel of two young couples headed off into the desert find a good view for sexy photo shoot. Noelle, who’s played by Lacey Chabert, who had wisdom, but was also a tough, brave young woman with a husband named Brian who was, portrays Tygh Runyan. Atheria, the aspiring model, who was portrayed, by Mercedes McNab and her boyfriend Tyson, who’s played by Brandon Quinn, who is a photographer. In the middle of nowhere they stopped and took a few photos, and when they were finished they got in their vehicle and drove off, as they were driving on the dirt road, suddenly a wolf dog appeared at the front of their vehicle. Tyson was the driver, and he tried to avoid running over the dog but the vehicle crashes into the ravine. “The sexy photo shoot turned into a disaster. Atheria was the only one who was badly hurt from the car crashed, she had a serious head injury and she needed medical help. Noelle knew that Atheria was going to die if she is not get the help she needed as soon as possible. They are stranded in the middle of nowhere. As the heat rises in the desert, without shelter they began to feel dehydrated. Their rations of water were not very much, so they’re suffering from delirium and dying of thirst. Soon Atheria passed; they continued to walk hoping they’ll find water along the way to get to the main road. Tyson found a small pond of water, but noel had notice the water doesn’t look right. She tried to stop Tyson from drinking it, but he did not listen to Noel. Perhaps in Tyson’s mind was he is going to die anyway from thirst, so he just kept drinking until he was no longer thirsty. Noel’s husband Brian also started drinking the water, and she had him vomited out the water. Unfortunately the poison water got into Brian’s system, he was dying slowly and Tyson did not get very far after drinking the water.

Noel and Brian continued walking and left behind their dead best friend. It was so painful for Brian losing his best friend, but there was nothing he could do but to leave him there on the desert. Brian was very ill, the poison was creeping in his entire system, and he chooses to take his own life to save Noel and their unborn child. It was very painful for Noelle losing the man she loved and the father of her baby, but she had no choice but to accept her husband offered to drink his blood for the baby and her to live, because he knew that he is not going to survive because he was dying.   Noel, a young woman who had wisdom and hope gives her the courage and strength that keeps her alive. The movie Thirst, Noel was a good example to everyone, she did not give up hope she just kept on walking. You have to watch the movie Thirst, to find out if she survives.

Expendables movie was a hard hitting movie, full of action, adventure with a little humor also. The movie was based on a story of a group of mercenaries who were hired to infiltrate a South American Country and over throw its ruthless dictator. Sylvester Stallone, who’s played Barney Ross, a fearless man that, had nothing to lose. He had five men who were the best of the best, Jason Statham who’s played Lee Christmas, a highly skilled in knife thrower, and a martial art expert. If you are not familiar his name, watch his movie “The Transporter,”but only if you love action movies, you will enjoy watching Tranporter. Jet Li was portrays Yin Yang a martial art expert. Terry Crews who portrays Hale Caesar, a long heavy weapon Specialist. Randy Coulture who’s played Toll Road a skilled demolitions expert, and Dolph Lundren who’s played Gunnar Jensen, a combat veteran and expert in precision sniping.

The Expendables movie, a mysterious Church offers Barney a job, which no one would take. Bruce Willis was portrays Church who offered Arnold the job first, but Arnold hand it over to Barney, because I think he is going to run for president this coming election. That’s a little humor.” Barney and Lee went to Vilena first to familiar the country; they met a woman named Sandra a daughter of General Garza in the Island vilena. Giselle Itie, who’s played Sandra, was a rebellious against her father whom betrayed his country for wealth. Sandra drove Barney and Lee around the country close to James Monroe’s domain in the area of, Eric Robert, who’s played James Monroe, a ruthless ex-CIA Agent, and a murderous dictator of the Island Vilene. While they were driving around the country side, they encountered James Monroe’s guys, luckily Lee wasn’t with Barney and Sandra. Monroe’s guys apprehended Barney and Sandra, but there was Lee to the rescue, and they’re able to escape. They tried to help Sandra to go with them back to the US, but she refused to go. Monroe captured her and sentenced her to death.

In the movie Expendables, one of Barney’s men betrayed him, Gunner Jensen who had a short fuse personality, that’s one of the reasons why Barney did not let him in the dangerous mission. Therefore Gunner rebelled, and took the enemies side, his mission was to kill Barney but he failed. The team went back to the Island Vilene; they tried to rescue Sandra before Monroe’s people killed her. The movie Expendables was very entertaining; all the actions are in this movie. I gave all the credit to Stallone for choosing the best actors and for making this film. The Expendables movie is really a kick-ass movie.” If you love action movies, this Expendables film will never bore you. Excellent movie and was great performance of all the cast. Stallone you did a great job.” Expendables is an A+ movie.

The Kick-Ass is a movie that was directed by Mathew Vaughn, and John Romita was the author of the novel. The movie Kick-Ass was released on DVD in movie August 2010.

The movie Kick-Ass is based on a novel of a young teenager who was fanatic about comic books. Aaron Johnson, who portrays  Dave Lizewski, who had a fantasy to be a  super hero, he made up a nickname,  Kick-Ass,” assembles unrecognizable suit  to wear and a mask like  a hero  so he won’t be recognize by anyone in his school,  including his friends. Well, the super hero started walking down the streets to fight crime, helping the people who were in trouble from the mobs, so here he comes, kick-Ass, a super hero is ready to rescue, but instead his ass got kicked  really bad and he end up in the hospital. Although kick-ass has neither power, nor strength to fight, his experience, of getting beat up did not stop him from trying to be a hero. You’ve got to respect kick-ass bravery to have the guts to face the mobs and warn them to stay away from his girlfriend. The mobsters were about to end his life, when suddenly, there was bullets and knives flying in a different directions, and the mobsters are dropping down on the floor very fast. Mindy, the eleven year old girl, who would ever think could move that fast with at that age.” She reminded me of Angelina Jolie. Whatch out Angelina you have a competition!  In the movie kick-ass, Mindy who’s played by Chloe Grace Moretz , who was raised and trained by her  father to be a warrior against  bad guys, “the mobs.” Nicolas Cage, who played Damon Mcready as “Big Daddy” who was in the police force, was kicked out from his job and thrown in jail for five years due to the corruptions in the police force caused by the mobsters. When he got out he started as a vigilante and was on fire to get revenge.”  He put his black costumes and black face mask on, looking  like batman, and went after the mobsters, stealing there money, and burning their properties and killing  every mobster that  gets in  his way.

The head of the mobsters Frank De Amico who’s played by Mark Strong, who was after kick-ass because he thought he was the one stealing his money and killing his guys. His son, who also tried to be a super hero name himself as Red Mist, who’s played by Christopher Mintz-Plasse,  convince kick-ass to meet big daddy, and he agreed not knowing it was a trap. Big daddy let them in, the mobster’s son shot Mindy, the bullet hit her chest and caused her flying out the window, big daddy and kick-ass were  taken by Frank ‘s guys to a place were  both of them are going to be tortured and burned. Luckily Wendy was wearing a bullet proof vest when she got shot, and she came to the rescue her burning father, but she could not get to him in time to stop the fire. The eleven year old daughter Mindy, a warrior, gave it all her best to conquer all the mobsters that were in the room   to save her father, but they were too many against her alone. There wasn’t enough time after she finished them all; her father had only a few second left from his death. Mindy wrap her father with blanket to kill the fire.  Big daddy last word to her daughter were, I’m so proud of you, you’ve done a great job.”  Again Mindy saved kick-ass for the second time. She asked him to join her to finish what her father and her started. Finally they both joined together to finish her father’s mission to abolish the group of mobsters. The film kick-ass was kind of slow for twenty minutes, but Chloe made it exciting all the way to the end of the movie. If every eleven year old girl can kick-ass like Mindy, perhaps those bad guys would have a second thought to miss with them.  In my opinion Mendy was the real hero in this movie. What a great performance of Chloe Moretz. I will be looking forward to see her next movie. It is so much fun to watch the way she move in this film. The end of the movie Kick-Ass, you have to watch the movie in order to find out who the real hero was.

Letters to God  is a movie that was produced and directed by David Nexon, and written by Patrick Doughtie. The movie Letters to God was released on DVD April 2010.

The movie Letters to God is based on a true story of a young boy who was dying from cancer disease. It cast Tanner McGuire who portrays as Tyler Doherty, an extra ordinary twelve year old boy with a strong faith in God, which gave him the courage to faces his battles against the cancer disease. Tyler’s prayers everyday asking God to help his family and the people around him, but asks nothing for himself. Everyday he wrote to God and put his letter inside the mail box so the postman will pick it up. Until one day Brady McDaniels was substituting for the mail man who took a vacation. Brady was wondering what he  is going to do with the letters, his boss told him just do whatever he wants to do with them . He asked one of his friend’s for advice and his friend advices him to take it to church. When he got inside the church, he wasn’t sure where to leave the letters; Brady walked towards the altar and put the letters down on the top of the altar. The preacher saw him and called him, Brady started explaining regarding the kids letter to God. The preacher advised him that the letter were meant for him to have, all he had to do was to go home and sleep on it, and then God would  tell Brady what to do with the letters. Brady has his own pain; he lost custody of his one and only son. After the preacher advice he took the letters home, and started seeing Tyler and practiced playing soccer with him. Brady became friends with the Doherty family, and the two found comfort to each other’s company.

Maddy Doherty, who’s played by Robyn Lively, lives in denial that her son Tyler is going to leave her to be with the Lord. Maddy was focusing so much on Tyler that her other son Ben felt neglected, who’s played by Michael Bolton as Ben Doherty a brother of Tyler. One day Tyler received a letter from his school team, inviting him to join his team to play against the other team. Maddy, his mother wouldn’t let him go because she was worried that Tyler was not well enough to play the game, but he begged and begged his mother and with the help of his friend Brady, they convinced his mother to let him play.  The last game Tyler helps his team win the victory, and he so was overwhelmed of joy that he collapsed on the ground. Brady was blamed by Tyler’s mother of what happened to Tyler, therefore Brady felt guilty, and disgusted with his life, to him it seems nothing works for him no matter what he does. He went home and grabbed the bottle of whisky but before he drank it, he changed his mind, instead he started opening all the letters  to God and read them.  It changes Brady’s life forever after reading Tyler’s letter to God, and everyone around him. The movie Letters to God will inspire everyone when they see it. You don’t have to be a Christian to be inspired by twelve year old boy who have love and compassion not only has the kind love for his family but for the people around him. Job well done, with all the cast but most of all for Tyler who had a strong faith and believed he was going to heaven. You must see this movie it will touch your heart!

The After.Life movie is based on a novel in  which a young girl name Anna, a school teacher, who’s played by Christina Ricci,  whom had a boyfriend named  Paul, a young man who was madly in love with her. But Anna, she seems cold toward her relationship with Paul. One night before a car accident, Anna is meeting Paul in the restaurant for dinner. Paul had in mind of surprising Anna with the ring and proposes to marry her. When Anna arrived they both ordered a Duck for their dinner. Paul was excited about a good opportunity, a good job that was offered to him across the country, so he started to discuss with Anna. Well, instead of proposing first, and then put the engagement ring on her finger, and then talk about work later.” That’s what Paul should have done first. Anna did not give Paul a chance to explain, she just ran off with her car and her emotions took over because she thought that Paul tried to break up with her and leave town. It was unfortunate for Anna; by the time she woke up she was in the funeral home. The funeral director Eliot Deacon, who’s played by Liam Neeson, was preparing for Ann’s funeral. Anna was confused and terrified; she thought that she was alive that Eliot was injecting her with drugs. She kept insisting she is very much alive. Eliot had to explain to Anna that he has a gift that most people did not have, the ability to see and hear the dead people spirits.  Paul believes that Anna is alive, and so Anna did not want to believe she is dead. Paul’s hopes got even stronger when a little kid had told him he saw Anna standing by the window. The little kid was one of Anna’s students, played by Chandler Carterbury.

Paul got very drunk during Anna’s funeral, drove his car to save his girlfriend who he thought buried alive. It’s for you to find out what happened the ending of the movie.
