Preacher’s Kid is a movie story about family, love and forgiveness. It’s about a daughter who was raised by a single father in a small town. Letoya Luckett plays Angie, a Preacher’s daughter, who walks away to seek and experience life on her own. Her father Bishop King played by Gregory Alan Williams, is a strict, controlling, but a loving father who disapproves of his daughter to pursue her dream to be a famous in a gospel show. Angie meets a man, a famous singer in a gospel show. She was persuaded by his looks and deception, in hopes that she will get a contract to sing in the show. The romance heated and faded shortly, as it turned into a heart break. It was an excellent performance by Letoya Luckett in the movie, Preacher’s Kid. I highly recommend to young teenagers and adults alike to watch this movie. You will enjoy the reality and insight of the story.
