Movie Title: The Back-up plan
The Back-up Plan movie, was directed by Alan Poul and was produced by Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, and Steve Tisch. The Back-up Plan film was written by Kate Angelo, and was released in theatrical April 2010.
The Back-up Plan movie, a romantic comedy novel about a woman whom finally gave up looking for her soul mate after years of dating. Zoe, played by Jennifer Lopez, was a successful woman who owned a business. When she made up her mind to have a child, she decided to have artificial insemination, that same day she met the man of her dreams. She had just walked from the doctor’s clinic, called the cab and when she got inside a man, who’s played by Alex O’Loughlin Dan, got inside the cab the same time as she did. They both argued, who called the cab first. Finally Zoe got out, but the man also got out letting her have the ride, but the cab driver took off, without a passenger.
Dan invited Zoe to dinner one evening, took her to a romantic atmosphere, with one table on the center in a flower garden, with Champaign bottle, a silver platter, “and with candle light.” Zoe opened the silver platter; it was nothing like gourmet food inside, it was cheese pizza! Dan had tried to open the Champaign bottle and it splashed all over on Zoe’s dress, and the whole table was on fire! Dan grabbed of some kind of dirt, poured it on the table that was on fire and Zoe grabbed the hose and sprayed the table, well all the dirt just splashed all over on Dan. Although they didn’t get a chance to eat the pizza, and drink the Champaign, the evening was turned into laughter and the romance begun. Dan invited Zoe to visit him at his ranch; she drove her car along with her dog. As she was driving inside the ranch she saw Dan driving the tractor, she got distracted and she just ran into a tree. After Zoe confessed to Dan that she was pregnant, he was disappointed and confused. They both were madly in love, there’s no doubt about it.” Dan was even more confused when they found out Zoe is going to have twins. But true love, always supersedes above all, in any circumstances.
The movie The Back-up Plan was hilarious; you have to watch Jennifer Lopez and Alex O”Loughlin face reactions when they were watching the other woman who was in labor. J. Lo’s excellent performance, and Alex did a good job. The Back-up movie would be perfect for family to watch. Very enjoyable film! |

Movie Title: Our Family Wedding
Our Family Wedding movie was directed by Rick Famuyiwa, Writers: Rick Famuyiwa, Wayne Conley. Our Family Wedding movie was released on Blu-ray and DVD on March 2010.
The movie, Our Family Wedding, is a novel of two College students who were in love. Lucia Ramirez, who’s played by America Ferrera and her boyfriend Marcus Boyd, who portrays Lance Gross They both discussed and agreed to announce their engagement as a surprise to their parents. Lucia and Marcus came home to their home town, and invite their family to dinner. Lucia and Marcus had never discussed their relationship with their parents before they came home. So the family on both sides has no idea that their college students’ kids were having a serious relationship with someone. Marcus and Lucia had introduced both of their parents to each other. Brad Boyd, who’s played by Forest Whitaker, the father of Marcus was not too crazy of meeting Miguel Ramirez, the father of Lucia, because Miguel has towed Brad’s Car earlier. Miguel and Brad did not like each other from that point on. It’s even worsened when they introduced each other as future parents in law. Brad and Miguel acted as they were uncivilized human being, perhaps like little kids. The big issue was each family was from a different culture, there’s always a difficulties in the relationship between both sides. Lucia and Marcus were in a very stressful situation because of their parents. Marcus tried to explain to Lucia, to stand up for her right as a grown woman to her parent, but she misunderstood, she gave the ring back to Marcus, she just broke up with him and the wedding is off.
When Lucia’s father seen how miserable her daughter was, Miguel, (who loves his daughter very much), seeing how unhappy she was without the man she’s in love with, he came to his senses and he compromised with her. Lucia did not know the way how to make up with Marcus; her sweet sister decided how to help her. She went to Marcus house, and then serenades him in the front yard. I thought that was very cute for a woman to serenade a man. Well, both parties had compromised and the wedding plan continued as planned.
The movie, Our Family wedding, the wedding party was so hilarious and disastrous, you’ll see goat and chickens running around knocking out everything there is in the reception. Champaign glasses were flying everywhere, and the wedding cake, and before the bride and groom get a chance to cut the cake, the goat cut it for them. But the wedding ceremony continues. The wedding reception was a disastrous, but at least Lucia and Marcus made it to become one, (husband and wife). The movie Our Family Wedding was so funny that family will enjoy watching the film Our Family Wedding. A must see! |

Movie Title: Management
The Management movie, was written and directed by Stephen Belber, and produced by Nyck Godfrey. The DVD movie released date was September 2009.
The Management movie is a story of a woman who was traveling in Arizona for Baltimore’s Firm to sell Art to Corporations, for office walls. Jennifer Aniston, who’s played as Sue Claussen, a smart business woman had stopped to a small town and checked into a motel that was owned and manage by family members, on the roadside of Kingman, which has a population of 27 thousand.
The owners had a son who helps manage their motel business name Mike, who’s played by Steve Zahn. Mike has no ambitions in life; he is content where he is, to help his parent’s motel business. Mike sees Sue the first day while she was checking in and had an instant crush on her. As soon as Sue got inside her room, here is Mike knocking on her door with a wine bottle in his hand, making an excuse that it’s on the house, complimentary for the guest. The next day Mike tried the same trick with her, he brought a bottle of Champaign, and he started complimenting Sue telling her she has a cute butt. In order for Sue to get rid of him, she made a deal with him, Sue asked mike if she would him touch her butt that he would have to leave the room immediately, and he agreed.
Sue checked out the room, going back to Baltimore. But before she hit the road, surprisingly she stopped at the laundry room where Mike was, and started kissing him, well, the romance heated, and then you know what happened next? They were having sex on the top of the washing machine.” Sue left, and went back to her home town doing her normal activities. But Mike was so crazy with Sue that he bought a one way ticket to see her. Sue was surprised to see Mike, and she would send him back to his home town after a few days. When he arrives home, bad news awaits, him, his mother is dying. Before Mike’s mother died, Sue decided to visit Mike; he introduced Sue to his mother.
After Mike’s mother passed away, he decided to make a change in his life, to go after Sue once again, but Sue had went back to her ex-boyfriend. Sue informed Mike that she was pregnant, and she was checked in going to marry Jango, because she needed a man who’s in control with his life. Mike was very angry and hurt; he ended up joining a monastery for six months, a transformed man, before returning home. His dad gave him the deed of the motel to do whatever he wants, Mike could sell it, or continue the motel business. It is a romantic ending, so you have to watch the movie to find out. |

The when in Rome movie was written by David Diamond & David Weissman, and was directed by Mark Steven Johnson. The movie was release in the USA on January 21, 2010, and released in DVD June 5, 2010.
When in Rome movie is a comical novel. It is about a woman who has chosen her career over a man whom she was in love with. Kristen Bell played as Beth, a career woman in the movie. Beth went on a trip to Rome to attend her sister’s wedding where she met Nick, a charming reporter played by Neil Duhamel. In the movie, Beth and Nick have a mutual attraction in their first meeting, “no question about it,” of how they feel toward each other. But wait! Beth had seen Nick outside the wedding party kissing another woman. The feeling of being deceived and rejected took over in Beth’s heart. Her intention was, to share a bottle of Champaign with Nick but it did not workout. Beth walked inside the fountain while drinking her bottle of champaign. In this movie the fountain was called, the “fountain of love.” People would toss their coins and make a wish, and magically their love wishes would come true. Beth picks up a few coins and took them home with her not knowing what the consequences of keeping the coins would bring. See this movie when in Rome, you will to find out, it is really hilarious! I highly recommend to family and friends to watch. |
