The story was written by Rasmus Heisenberg and Nicoj Arcel. Stieg Larsson, who was the Author of the novel, the girl with the dragon tattoo. It was released on DVD July 2010. This is the Swedish film version of best selling novel, the girl with the dragon tattoo.
The girl with the dragon tattoo novel is a quite thrilling movie. The movie is full of mystery and suspense from the beginning to the end of the movie. The movie is based on a young troubled girl, who’s a resourceful computer hacker. Noome Rapace who’s played as Lisbeth Salander, the young girl whom was taking advantaged of, by an old man that hated women. The despicable” old man was Lisbeth’s lawyer. Therefore he handled Lisbeth’s financial affairs. Every time she asked for money, the old man would manipulate her into having sex with him. Lisbeth had no choice but to do what the old man asked her to do. Revenge,” was in the young smart girl’s mind, turned around and surprised the old man. Tied him up and stuck the needle for tattoo on his chest, the real tattoo says, “I’m a rapist.” She video the whole thing, of what he did to her so the old man won’t turn her in to the authorities. Now Lisbeth is free from the ordeal, she’s been through a lot with the old man. Then someone was knocking on Lisbeth’s door, and she opened it, and the man standing at her front door was Mikael Blomkvist, the financial journalist who’s out of job from losing in court. He is about to go to jail, which Lisbeth is aware of. She knows what’s going on with Mikael’s life story. Mikael ask Lisbeth to help him to investigate a missing woman of fourty years, her name was Harriet Vanger. She disappeared during the family gathering on the island owned by the most powerful Vanger clan. Harriet Vanger’s body was never found. Harriet’s uncle who love and cared for his niece, was convinced that she was murdered by her own close dysfunctional family. Her uncle last hope is, to hire Mikael Blomkvist to investigate the mystery. Mikael and Lisbeith were a great team, because they’re about to uncovered the dark side of the secretive life history of Vanger clan family. Mikael did not realize the danger of finding the killer, until he was face to face with him. His life was about to end when the killer cornered him and tie him up! The killer was confessing to Mikael while he is torturing him. He told Mikael how he tortured every one of them before he killed them. The killer’s plan was, to kill Mikael exactly as he had killed others in the past. But he was wrong. The girl with the dragon tattoo, here she comes,” surprised the killer! And she rescued her partner. The killer tried to get away fast and drove his car, but the dragon tattoo girl got on her motorcycle and chased the killer and run him off the road. The car rolled over the cliff, after a few minutes the car blew up and it was all over. The young girl with the dragon tattoo disappeared, but left a note to her partner Mikael where to find Harriet the missing woman. She also left him with an important document that would link to his case. What an excellent novel and great performance of Noomi Rapace. |
