Movie Title: Letters to God
Letters to God is a movie that was produced and directed by David Nexon, and written by Patrick Doughtie. The movie Letters to God was released on DVD April 2010.
The movie Letters to God is based on a true story of a young boy who was dying from cancer disease. It cast Tanner McGuire who portrays as Tyler Doherty, an extra ordinary twelve year old boy with a strong faith in God, which gave him the courage to faces his battles against the cancer disease. Tyler’s prayers everyday asking God to help his family and the people around him, but asks nothing for himself. Everyday he wrote to God and put his letter inside the mail box so the postman will pick it up. Until one day Brady McDaniels was substituting for the mail man who took a vacation. Brady was wondering what he is going to do with the letters, his boss told him just do whatever he wants to do with them . He asked one of his friend’s for advice and his friend advices him to take it to church. When he got inside the church, he wasn’t sure where to leave the letters; Brady walked towards the altar and put the letters down on the top of the altar. The preacher saw him and called him, Brady started explaining regarding the kids letter to God. The preacher advised him that the letter were meant for him to have, all he had to do was to go home and sleep on it, and then God would tell Brady what to do with the letters. Brady has his own pain; he lost custody of his one and only son. After the preacher advice he took the letters home, and started seeing Tyler and practiced playing soccer with him. Brady became friends with the Doherty family, and the two found comfort to each other’s company.
Maddy Doherty, who’s played by Robyn Lively, lives in denial that her son Tyler is going to leave her to be with the Lord. Maddy was focusing so much on Tyler that her other son Ben felt neglected, who’s played by Michael Bolton as Ben Doherty a brother of Tyler. One day Tyler received a letter from his school team, inviting him to join his team to play against the other team. Maddy, his mother wouldn’t let him go because she was worried that Tyler was not well enough to play the game, but he begged and begged his mother and with the help of his friend Brady, they convinced his mother to let him play. The last game Tyler helps his team win the victory, and he so was overwhelmed of joy that he collapsed on the ground. Brady was blamed by Tyler’s mother of what happened to Tyler, therefore Brady felt guilty, and disgusted with his life, to him it seems nothing works for him no matter what he does. He went home and grabbed the bottle of whisky but before he drank it, he changed his mind, instead he started opening all the letters to God and read them. It changes Brady’s life forever after reading Tyler’s letter to God, and everyone around him. The movie Letters to God will inspire everyone when they see it. You don’t have to be a Christian to be inspired by twelve year old boy who have love and compassion not only has the kind love for his family but for the people around him. Job well done, with all the cast but most of all for Tyler who had a strong faith and believed he was going to heaven. You must see this movie it will touch your heart! |

Movie Title: After.Life
After.Life movie was written by Paul Vosloo, with Agnieszka Wojtowicz, as the co writer and director. The movie After.Life and was released on DVD April 2010.
The After.Life movie is based on a novel in which a young girl name Anna, a school teacher, who’s played by Christina Ricci, whom had a boyfriend named Paul, a young man who was madly in love with her. But Anna, she seems cold toward her relationship with Paul. One night before a car accident, Anna is meeting Paul in the restaurant for dinner. Paul had in mind of surprising Anna with the ring and proposes to marry her. When Anna arrived they both ordered a Duck for their dinner. Paul was excited about a good opportunity, a good job that was offered to him across the country, so he started to discuss with Anna. Well, instead of proposing first, and then put the engagement ring on her finger, and then talk about work later.” That’s what Paul should have done first. Anna did not give Paul a chance to explain, she just ran off with her car and her emotions took over because she thought that Paul tried to break up with her and leave town. It was unfortunate for Anna; by the time she woke up she was in the funeral home. The funeral director Eliot Deacon, who’s played by Liam Neeson, was preparing for Ann’s funeral. Anna was confused and terrified; she thought that she was alive that Eliot was injecting her with drugs. She kept insisting she is very much alive. Eliot had to explain to Anna that he has a gift that most people did not have, the ability to see and hear the dead people spirits. Paul believes that Anna is alive, and so Anna did not want to believe she is dead. Paul’s hopes got even stronger when a little kid had told him he saw Anna standing by the window. The little kid was one of Anna’s students, played by Chandler Carterbury.
Paul got very drunk during Anna’s funeral, drove his car to save his girlfriend who he thought buried alive. It’s for you to find out what happened the ending of the movie. Did Paul save his girlfriend from the grave? You have to watch the movie and draw your own conclusion. Rent it now and enjoy the film! |

The Seventh Sign was produced by Robert W. Cort, and was directed by Carl Schultz.The movie the seventh sign was casting with many great and famous actresses and actors. Demi Moore is one of the best actresses of all time. The seventh sign movie DVD was released on February 2009.
The Seventh Sign Film was based upon the final chapter of the Bible. The final Judgments of the sinful humanity on earth, “the apocalypse,” The end of the world! The second coming of Christ Jesus, who’s portrayed by David the angel of death, who’s played by a great actor Jorgen Prochnow, who was carrying the seventh sign. The first seventh seal was broken on the beach by David, who also portray as Christ in the flashed back of Christ Crucifixion. All creatures that live in the water were all dead, and then fire was burning buildings everywhere. The moon turned into crimson red and the water turned blood. Dead people are everywhere, wherever you turn.”
In the film the seventh sign, there was a young married couple. The husband’s name was Russell Quinn, who’s played by Michel Biehn, who’s married to Abby Quinn who’s played by Demi Moore, Russell was an attorney who was representing , a man of God,”he was supposed to be, with his believed by killing his parents, he thought it was the right thing to do. Russell tried to save his client from death row, but failed. Abby was pregnant, which is two months away from giving birth of their unborn child. Russell was concerned of his wife pregnancy, because of their first unborn child did not make it into this world, due to the complication of Abby’s first pregnancy. But Abby was determined to have another child, so she did not give up hope. She insisted to her husband that she felt strongly about the unborn child she was carrying is healthy and strong.
Abby and her husband Russell decided to rent their guest room to a stranger name David, of whom they know nothing about. David, who portrays as an angel of death was Christ in a flash back when he was crucified. Abby felt something was not right, so she went snooping around in David’s room when he was not around. She discovered that her and her unborn child were a part of some terrifying prophecies, of which her child may not survive because there will be no more souls left for the unborn. The only way to avert the final judgments was to be an act of faith, by someone who sacrifices. Abby, a mother with unconditional love for her child gave up her own life in exchange for her child to live and to save the world.
The seventh sign movie is great. My heart was moved by Demi Moore great performance in this film. No question about it.”Demi is great in every movie she performed. A must see! |

The movie Remember Me was written by Will Fetters, and produced by Nichols Osborne and Trevor Englesons. The Remember Me movie was directed by Allen Coulter, and was released March 14, 2010.
This is a story about two college students who had a tragic experienced in their childhood. Robert Pattinson, also an executive producer of this film Remember me played Tyler Hawkins who’s confused, angry and lost because of his brother tragic death. Tyler would get himself in trouble just to get his father attention, whose played by Pierce Brosnan as Charles Hawkins a wealthy attorney in New York. Tyler felt unloved by his family, especially from his father. Charles Hawkins had to make some excused to attend his daughter birthday party, because he is too busy with his business. He did not have spare time to spend with his kids. Tyler’s anger escalated with his father when he saw a broken hearted little sister Caroline Hawkins, played by Ruby Jerins. In the movie Tyler, a lonely young man was hungry for love when he met Ally Craig, his classmate who’s played by Emilie de Ravin. She had witnessed her mother’s murder when she was only a little girl. Ally raised by her father who worked in the police force. Chris Cooper portrays sergeant. Neil Craig, a very tough cop who beat up Tyler and thrown him in jail when he found out his daughter was dating Tyler. However Ally and Tyler did not stop seeing each other. With Ally, her understanding, compassion and love for Tyler, she gave the college young man hope, happiness, and change of heart to make amends to his father. He called his father and asked if they could talk, and his father’s response was, “wait for me at my office, I will be late but I will be there.” Unfortunately Tyler’s father didn’t make it the building before it collapsed. The very sad part is, Tyler and his father did not get a chance to reconcile their differences, and most of all Tyler did not get a chance to hear from his father tell him that he loved him. The movie Remember Me, is a story that relates in people real lives. It gives an insight to everyone, not to take for granted our precious moments and to spend time with our family to whom we love, because that might be our last precious moments to spend time with them. It is an excellent job by Will Fetters, who wrote this novel, and a great movie for parents and young adult to watch. |

Preacher’s Kid is a movie story about family, love and forgiveness. It’s about a daughter who was raised by a single father in a small town. Letoya Luckett plays Angie, a Preacher’s daughter, who walks away to seek and experience life on her own. Her father Bishop King played by Gregory Alan Williams, is a strict, controlling, but a loving father who disapproves of his daughter to pursue her dream to be a famous in a gospel show. Angie meets a man, a famous singer in a gospel show. She was persuaded by his looks and deception, in hopes that she will get a contract to sing in the show. The romance heated and faded shortly, as it turned into a heart break. It was an excellent performance by Letoya Luckett in the movie, Preacher’s Kid. I highly recommend to young teenagers and adults alike to watch this movie. You will enjoy the reality and insight of the story. |
